Graduate studies at UC Merced is organized around programs that emphasize a highly interdisciplinary approach to research and scholarship. The faculty of the three schools are committed to working together to provide course offerings and research experiences that transcend disciplinary boundaries and attack important real-world problems.
The School of Engineering hosts seven (7) graduate programs, including two management programs. While students are educated in a particular discipline, they have the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research and collaboration if they so desire.
