Steve Kidd

Steve Kidd is the Vice President of Operations for E. & J. Gallo Winery. He is responsible for the following manufacturing operations: Central Valley Wineries, Modesto Spirits, Modesto Cellar and Modesto Bottling. He also leads Corporate Engineering, Corporate Safety, Lean Six Sigma and Process Technology. Steve joined Gallo in 2002 as a Director for Specialty and Dessert Wines, working with Winemaking Administration, Operations, and Capital Planning to support Gallo’s strategic initiatives. Prior to working for the winery, Steve served a 19-year tenure at GE. He held a number of engineering and manufacturing management assignments in their Plastics Division. Steve completed GE’s Manufacturing Leadership Program and was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
