Advisory Bio:
Dr. Deva-Datta (DD) Sharma is a devoted practitioner of the art of finding research-inspired innovative pragmatic solutions to impactful societal and business needs. A lifelong student, his current focus is on exploring novel applications of data science and AI in healthcare, sustainability, and safety related applications. DD is an accomplished leader in software architecture, assessment of cutting-edge technology, and developing strategies for technology deployment. As a technology leader, he served in pivotal roles guiding technology transformations in software design, workflow automation, enterprise architecture, cloud computing, virtualized networks, network resilience, and 5G-based applications. DD has several publications related to risk assessment and AI approaches for engineering applications. He holds numerous patents on the application of AI/ML methods. DD served on the Technology Board advising the President of AT&T Labs on strategic business directions, innovation, and technology deployment. He has advised startups in the Bay area and has been an angel investor in a few. DD holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT-BHU (India), M.S. in Nuclear Technology from IIT Kanpur (India), and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering (with a focus on Nuclear Safety and AI) from the Ohio State University.
