The Peter and Rochelle Koch Scholarship, presented by the Valley Land Alliance (VLA), is given annually to a UC Merced student, with a preference to a junior or senior student in good academic standing, whose interests involve the Central Valley as it relates to agricultural land protection, environmental stability, and water accessibility issues.
