The School of Engineering requests your help in recognizing outstanding students within the graduating 2015-2016 class (students who have completed or are completing their degrees in Fall 2015, Spring 2016, or Summer 2016).
The deadline for nominating students for such honors is Monday April 4, 2016 at 11:59pm.
A reception honoring the Outstanding Student recipients will be held on May 5, 2016 at 4pm in Science & Engineering 2, first floor lobby.
Commencement ceremony will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016 for The School of Natural Sciences and The School of Engineering.
Criteria for Outstanding Student nominations:
1. 3.5 GPA or better (unless faculty recommender requests exemption of this requirement)
2. Extra-curricular activities such as, scholarships, research lab experience, REUs, UC Merced serivce, and community service and outreach. Supporting documentation such as letters of reference, articles, resume outlining student/community involvement, research papers, etc. is recommended
3. Student must have clear disciplinary record, confirmed by the Office of Judicial Affairs
