Ordering Desk Copies

Common Textbook Publishers

Requests for free desk/examination copies of textbooks often must be made directly from the faculty/instructor themselves.

As such, we have provided the following resources for faculty to make their requests.

Desk/examination copies can be ordered directly from publisher websites:

Elsevier: https://www.elsevier.com/books-and-journals/desk-copies

McGraw-Hill: https://www.mhhe.com/catalogs/cust_serv/review.mhtml

Pearson (instructions): https://www.pearsonhighered.com/preview-a-title.html

Springer: https://www.springer.com/gp/instructors/free-copy-request-form/50510

Triliteral (instructions): https://www.hup.harvard.edu/resources/educators/examination-copies.html

Wiley: https://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/Section/id-301906.html

Alternatively, faculty may order an individual copy of the textbook directly from the UC Merced Bookstore. For more information on obtaining an individual copy using this method, please email Kathy Briggs.
