Tom Blair

Advisory Bio: 
Tom Blair is the Vice President of Corporate Engineering for E&J Gallo, where he has responsibility for large capital projects including the East Coast Expansion, Process Technology, Facilities, process improvement engineering, Operations Technology, and Packaging Engineering. Tom began his career at Gallo in 2005 in Corporate Engineering. In 2006, Tom was named Director of Bottling and Packaging Engineering, leading capital projects executed in Bottling including the expansive Modesto Bottling Renovation. In 2010, Tom was promoted to Senior Director, adding responsibility for capital projects in the outside wineries and cellar operations, where he led the Central Valley Winery Capacity expansion. In 2017, Tom was promoted to his current role as VP, Engineering. Before joining Gallo, Tom was an engineer and manager at General Electric for 17 years in the Plastics business division, where he had assignments in New York, Indiana, Spain, and Alabama. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Honors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1988. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana. Tom and his wife Wendy live in Modesto, California.
