Academic Personnel

The goal of Academic Personnel Services is to promote efficient and effective support for processing of all academic personnel cases, from recruitment to promotions and terminations.  Tasks include but not limited to handling merit, promotion, sabbaticals, hiring, work authorizations and compliance.

  1. Recruitment: Provide efficient and timely processing of the faculty hiring processes.

  2. Merit & Promotion: Provide efficient and timely processing of the faculty merit and promotion processes.

  3. Leaves: Coordinate the leave process for faculty including but not limited to sabbatical, active service modified duties, stop the clock, leave of absences, etc.

  4. Non-Senate Appointment: Provide support for non-senate hiring and promotion processes.

  5. Visas: Provide timely processing of visas for all academic appointments.

  6. Policies, Procedures and Compliance:  Facilitate faculty career progress through consultations of system-wide and campus policies, procedures and compliance.
